Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix (DFC) is known for its renowned International Festival combining classical and jazz dance and music during the summer season. Conferences, musical brunches, master classes and concerts are featured.
While the leaves are turning, the DFC opens its doors to us for an artistic bubble in these times of pandemic or, if you prefer, the opportunity for an artistic residency. For 24 days, we will be on the riverside, surrounded by a garden of sculptures and a nature panorama. Everything to inspire creation and focus on our next season.
Prior to our trip, a team supported us (as we say in dance jargon) in terms of logistics, from the choice of accommodation (dorms, residences or studios) to the menu. Daniel Robichaud, Operations Coordinator and Market Development Delegate was there to answer our questions.
Always on the lookout for our comfort, our sanitary requirements (distancing, protective bubble) and our technical requests, he found successful and inventive solutions.
